My Students' Websites
My Journalism 107 (Business Reporting) students created a website titled Arao Interactive where they uploaded the answers to three final exam questions. (By the way, I'm not responsible for the website's title. Believe me!)
When I handled Journalism 196 (Seminar on Online Journalism), I made the mistake of letting my students think of the class website's title. That's why it's called Bungang Arao.
My graduate (M.A.) students in Journalism 216 (Specialized Reporting) created a class website that served as their final exam. As the title shows, they made "pun" of my name. Translated in English, the title Mga Isyu sa Ilalim ng Arao means "issues under the sun."
I personally take pride in the work of my students-turned-webmasters. I started teaching online publishing, particularly HTML hand coding, in the 1st semester of Academic Year 2000-2001. Below are websites of my students in Journalism 109 (Writing for Popular Audiences), Journalism 117 (Online Journalism) and Journalism 122 (Publication Design and Layout).
